Located in the old Jones Brothers building with its distinctive
clock tower, the Resource Centre is a purpose built Conference Centre
offering 16 rooms for hire to the voluntary sector. The Centre is
ideally situated, just 200 yards from the Holloway Road underground
station and on main bus routes from King's Cross and London Bridge.
The building is owned by the City Parochial Foundation, which was
established in 1891 to help those in need in Greater London. The
Foundation has invested considerable sums in the refurbishment and
adaptation of the building to its present form.
The Resource Centre is a registered charity, controlled by the
City Parochial Foundation, and has been designed to provide the
support, facilities and services that the thousands of charitable
organisations in London require in order to meet London's needs.
The Resource Centre has been designed to provide flexible office
space, conference, training and meeting rooms and exhibition space.
It is superbly appointed: all rooms are fully air conditioned; furniture
can be arranged to suit your requirements; and a full range of audiovisual
equipment is available. It provides an ideal environment for Conferences,
AGMs, smaller meetings, training and interviews.
The Centre Manager and the staff team provide a friendly, personal
service which is fast and efficient and will happily advise and
assist your planning to ensure your event runs smoothly. Our rates
are extremely competitive and such is the popularity of the Centre
that rooms are often reserved months in advance.
